FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long is the tour?
Bride and their guest can expect to be on the tour all day. The tours typically begin at 9:30am and go until 5pm (ish). Registration will start about 9:00am along with Mimosas and Breakfast.
How much are tickets?

How many tickets can I buy?
Tickets are $100 per person. You can purchase as many tickets as you like. Brides typically come with a parent, Maid of Honor, Bridesmaid, Friend or Fiance or Fiancee (Pro Tip: These two words are borrowed directly from French, in which language they have equivalent but gendered meanings: fiancé refers to a man who is engaged to be married, and fiancée refers to a woman)..
Tour costs includes: transportation, tours of several locations (ceremony and reception sites, wedding-related facilities, and vendors), breakfast, champagne, appetizers, cake tasting, lunch, and numerous prizes and giveaways.
Are the Tours rain or shine?
Yes! Brightly sunny, romantically rainy or snowy – we walk and enjoy! Please prepare for the elements accordingly and check our local weather prior to your tour date so that you can bring what you’ll need to stay comfortable.
Refunds?
All ticket sales are final. In the rare instance where we have to cancel an event, we will offer ticket-holders a choice of either a refund or a credit for a later date.
Can children participate in a Tour?
Our Tours include champagne and are for age 21+. Thank you for understanding.
What should I wear?
Come as casual or as fabulous as you want! However, please reward yourself and wear your most comfortable flat, closed toe walking shoes. Don’t forget to bring an umbrella or raincoat if the weather demands, and we suggest keeping personal bags small and light.
Can I do the tour in my own car?
No. Timing is of the essence on the tour, and having cars in tow is counter productive to the time line. There are also tour stops where parking is limited and would incur additional costs.
How can I get a schedule or tour map?
A schedule will be provided to all registrants about one week prior to the tour. They will then be given instructions on where to meet the bus, etc. The schedule is being kept secret at this point to encourage people to buy tickets so it is a unique experience for the bride!
Bathrooms?
There are restrooms at several stops on the Tour.
Where do Tours start?
You will be advised via email what your starting location once your ticket is confirmed and paid.
Is there time to shop on the Tour?
The Tour is timed to allow for some quick shopping with the vendors on the tour who offer products for sale and we encourage you to do so.
How much food is included? How about water?
You won't leave hungry! Water will be provided to all guests on the Tour. In addition there are several opportunities on the tour route to hydrate.
What if I have any food allergies or dietary restrictions?
Please contact us in advance with any known food allergies or dietary restrictions before purchasing your tickets. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. Dietary requests made on the day of the Tour cannot be accommodated. Please note, we will do our best to make you comfortable, however we cannot guarantee every restaurant/shop can replace certain foods due to the nature of the stop, so at these stops you may not be able to participate. Again, we will happily do our best to make you comfortable within our means.
What should you expect?
A day filled with drinks, food and gifts! We will tour several facilities, taste different dishes, experience signature drinks and learn the tricks and tips to Wedding Planning successfully.
As for the day, we will have a bus route, with the bus traveling to scheduled locations throughout the duration of the tour. You’ll jump on and jump off the bus throughout the day. Each tour stop will run from 45 - 60 minutes and then we will move on to the next stop. The day is long and at the end of the tour you will be exhausted, but it's a day well spent!
Who are the vendors that will be on the tour?
You can find an ongoing list of some of the vendors on the "Tour Partners" tab on the Brides in the City Website. There are additional vendors that we keep secret until the day of the Tour!
How will I know which vendor did what?
The vendors will have their contact information at each stop, and there will be information in your bags before we end the tour.
How do you choose the vendors?
We choose vendors based on referrals and a vendor application that we receive from interested parties. We do our very best to only have vendors on the tour who are ethical and have a quality product/service to offer. We try to be mindful of offering a wide variety of styles and price points.
I'm a Wedding Planner. Can I attend the Brides in the City Tour as a guest?
We encourage wedding planners interested in attending as a guest to bring one of their brides or grooms along with them on the tour as a guest. We also ask that any wedding vendors who attend as guests refrain from handing out marketing collateral of any kind out of respect for our participating vendors.
Other things:
This tour is intended to be educational as well as fun! Attendees will receive valuable information, not just vendor info.
This tour is intended to be FUN! Attendees will get to EXPERIENCE the vendors, not just grab their info and move on. Everyone will get to eat, sip, listen, pose, and all the fun things they want to do!
No money should be necessary, but plan on bringing some anyway in case you see something at one of the several locations that you might want to purchase.
